The Bahamas 2002!!!

Oh, the Caribbean!  What a place; particularly the Bahaman Isles!  Nothing like good friends, cheap food, the "Zoo" and swimming with sharks!  Not to mention that gambling is legal and fish fry's ... well they fry! :)  We spent 8 days / 7 nights at the Royal Nassau Beach Hotel and had a fabulous time!  What a great opportunity to escape from the school year for an early summer trip to relax and re-gain our sanity!!!  This was the 2nd year in a row that I have been out of the country for my birthday ... which is good because I am not doing well with the mid-twenties thing!  I met lots of crazy and awesome people, and I spent a lot of late nights with our neighbors at the hotel ... two cute girls from New York....  So anyway (wink-wink)!!!  It was also Bahamian Independence Week which was a treat, we managed not to get 'choked up and stabbed' as we were warned about!  Junkanoo music rocks and dancing in parades is a blast!!!  I recommend the trip to everyone! :) This page takes awhile to load -- I screwed up on the image quality ... so the pictures look good, but it takes a while to see them! :)
